Highslide JSHotel "Casita Belga" was founded by Henri Bolaños and Guy Mennen to support the development projects of "Eslabón Social". This development projects aim at giving education to the children of the 'barrios', the slums of Guayaquil, giving free medical care to the poor people in two health centers. Furthermore, "Eslabón Social" also started an agricultural project that will support about twenty farmers and their families. The profits of the hotel are given to "Eslabón Social".
